Context
: Mission Enfance
has created, and support for 14
years, a French school in Assayta
in the Afar region of Ethiopia.
We have trained the teachers,
refugees of the Djibouti Republic,
in order for them to take on the
future of their school.
A local Ngo (DARA, Mission Enfance's
partner) is composed of pupils'
parents and our teachers. The
teachers today are nearly autonomous
although having encountered serious
budget difficulties. Mission Enfance
sends them an endowment to support
them each year.
