Inauguration de deux écoles pour les déplacés au Kurdistan irakien

DSC_0325Two schools of Mission Enfance inaugurated on July 20 in the camp of Bardarash, in Iraq, by Mr. André Vallini, Secretary of State in charge of Development and Francophonie.

24 classrooms, with a stadium, a herb park and a kindergarten, were carried out by Mission Enfance and its local team, under the direction of the association’s coordinator, Wahid Atrushi, thanks to the financing of the Crisis and Support Center (MAEDI) – France.

67 teachers are now enrolling 2,075 children from the Shabak community, displaced from the Nineveh Plain. These students, without any education since they fled their home in August 2014, can now believe in their future.

Congratulations to the local team of Mission Enfance in Iraq !
